| WAS stands in solidarity with those affected by violence and reiterates our call for the international community to act swiftly in ensuring access to essential healthcare services, including sexual and reproductive health care, in areas plagued by conflict. We specifically emphasize the urgency of addressing the barriers to care for vulnerable populations and call for intervention to uphold human rights, as outlined in the WAS Declaration of Sexual Rights and the WAS Declaration of Sexual Justice. We urge all parties to prioritize the safety and well-being of civilians and healthcare workers, ensuring that critical services remain accessible, even in times of war. WAS urges the international community to find peaceful, just, stable and long-lasting resolutions to existing and ongoing conflicts. |
