| Dear WAS Members and Friends, Across the world, people seek sexual health care from professionals whose training varies widely. Some providers receive structured, evidence-based education in sexology. Others receive very little formal preparation. This raises crucial questions for our field: - How do we ensure quality, rigor, and consistency in clinical sexology education globally?
- What standards and frameworks are needed?
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, the WAS Professional Education in Sexology (PES) Committee will host a free webinar reflecting on these questions and sharing key developments in sexology training worldwide. | | | Thursday November 20, 2025 | | | | Reflecting on Professional Education in Sexology | | | Date: November 20, 2025 Time: 3:00 PM SAST (Find your local time here) About the WAS PES Committee The Professional Education in Sexology (PES) Committee was established as an ad hoc committee in 2021 to focus on training and education in clinical sexology.
