Dear WAS Members and Friends,

With World Sexual Health Day (WSHD) on September 4th, 2024, fast approaching, we're focusing on this year's critical theme: +Relationships (Positive Relationships).

This theme is a call to action for each of us to highlight the importance of healthy, respectful relationships in our sexual health and overall happiness.

Read the Press Release here.

Why +Relationships Are Key
Our commitment to fostering meaningful connections—whether romantic, familial, or platonic—stands at the core of this year's focus.

In a world increasingly mediated by technology, the importance of genuine human connection, built on trust, communication, and mutual respect, cannot be overstated. WSHD 2024 is an invitation to prioritize these bonds, which are instrumental in supporting mental, emotional, and sexual health.

How You Can Make a Difference
Lead and Participate: Organize or join activities, workshops, and events that promote better communication, consent, and joy in sexual relationships. Let's make the most of #WSHD2024 to spread knowledge and encourage healthy interactions everywhere.

Share and Educate: Use your voice and your networks to spread the word. Talk about what we're doing and why it matters with your friends, colleagues, and online. Don't forget to use our official hashtags #wshd2024 and #positiverelationships to connect with the wider community.

Find Resources: Check out the rich selection of tools and information on the World Sexual Health Day website. Here, you'll find everything you need to support positive relationships and get involved in WSHD 2024.
