Observed annually, IDAHOBIT marks the 1990 decision by the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases. It is now recognized globally as a moment to reflect, mobilize, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. The 2025 theme, developed through global consultation, highlights the contributions of human rights defenders, community organizers, and LGBTQIA+ individuals worldwide—and the power of collective solidarity in confronting systemic discrimination. | | Organizational Member: UN|HUSHED Remote Trainings | | | | UN|HUSHED, recipient of the WAS 2023 Award for Excellence in Sexuality Education, offers a dynamic suite of remote trainings for sexuality educators working with learners aged 5 to 19. Their evidence-based, trauma-informed trainings address critical topics such as: - TikToxic Masculinity in the Classroom - Sex Ed & the Law - Teaching Sex Ed Online (English & Spanish) - Elementary, Middle, and High School Curriculum Training UN|HUSHED's mission is to break the silence around human sexuality, and their work is rooted in values of rights, inclusivity, innovation, and justice.
