I’m still on vacation, but I wanted share my latest column for Rewire News Group. I’m several decades older than the target age group for Amazon’s college-drama Off Campus, but I loved it. It was well-written, well-acted, and a little unpredictable. And hot. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it. Then read my article. How ‘Off Campus’ Gets Good Sex RightI don’t know if any of the students at Briar University are making the Dean’s List, but as a sex educator, I can tell you they know a thing or two about good sex. Kids at this fictional Massachusetts college—the setting of Off Campus, Amazon Prime’s spicy spring hit—are asking each other for consent, negotiating new sex positions while fully clothed, setting the terms of their relationships without playing games, using sex toys and condoms, and going down on each other. No orgasm gap to be found. These characters are practicing what I’ve always preached: trust, communication, and mutual pleasure. And they’re being rewarded with plenty of climaxes and some of the healthiest young adult relationships I’ve seen on television. Invite your friends and earn rewards
