Read on for full details. | | Expression of Interest: WAS International Scientific Committee | | | We invite you to express your interest in serving on the WAS International Scientific Committee for the 27th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health, held in conjunction with the 17th Congress of the Asia-Oceania Federation for Sexology and the 6th Sexology in Practice Symposium of the Society of Australian Sexologists (WAS 2025). The primary role of committee members is to review abstracts submitted for the congress. Those who commit to reviewing and complete all assigned abstracts will receive a certificate of recognition from WAS as a valued member of the committee. Key details: - Extended deadline to express interest: Sunday, November 24, 2024 - Abstract scoring deadline: Two weeks from the date abstracts are assigned to you - Number of abstracts: Approximately 10 Please fill out the Expression of Interest form to participate. Every Time," will be explored through presentations, discussions, and workshops led by global experts and advocates. Don't miss the chance to secure your early bird registration and start planning your trip. | | WAS General Assembly – December 12 | | | | Date correction: The WAS General Assembly will take place online on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 15:00 South African Standard Time. The GA is the highest governing body of WAS. We will review the year's progress, vote on important updates to the WAS statutes, and outline strategies for advancing Sexual Health and Rights for ALL. The GA is open to all, but voting rights are reserved for official representatives of WAS Member Organizations, Federation Presidents, and WAS Advisory Committee members. The authors of a forthcoming paper that critiques the report will share their perspectives and insights.
