COMING UP: WAS JUNE WEBINAR
| The Role of NGOs in Promoting LGBTQIA+ Rights |
Across the world, NGOs are on the front lines of LGBTQIA+ rights, navigating shrinking civic space, legislative hostility, and funding instability while continuing to deliver. This webinar brings their experience into direct conversation with the global sexual health community. |
This webinar is organized by the WAS Finance and Fundraising Committee. Committee Chair Stefano Eleuteri, researcher in clinical psychology at Mercatorum University in Rome, will chair the session, joined by fellow committee members René de Klerk (Executive Director, WAS) and Luis Perelman (Founder, El Armario Abierto), and by Sharful Islam Khan (Head, HIV & AIDS Programme, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh). |

WORLD SEXUAL HEALTH DAY 2026
| “Every Body” How to Get Involved: 4 September 2026 |
World Sexual Health Day 2026 is twelve weeks away. If you've been thinking about how to mark it, now is the time to start planning. |
You don't need a budget, a formal organization, or specialist expertise. The WSHD 2026 Participation Guide sets out seven concrete ways to take part, from hosting a workplace conversation around one of the ten Every Body themes, to running a workshop using the fact sheet and slide deck, screening a film, posting on social media with #WSHD2026 and #EveryBody, or simply sharing a fact that would otherwise go unsaid.
Download the Participation Guide at worldsexualhealthday.org, where you can also register your event so WAS can help amplify your work.
Any language, any location, any body.
If you have not yet had a chance to get involved and would like to, please contact us at media@worldsexualhealth.net. |
